Vince has used great shading and value techniques.

The artist has used many techniques such as shading and shaping and it must have been a very long process judging by the marvelous outcome.
•How would you describe the style of the artwork?
I believe that it is monochromatic as it is in black and white.

It inspires me to shade as well as this and to keep trying because practice makes perfect.

My favorite artist is Vincent Van Gogh and my favorite technique used by him is the brushstrokes of thick paint, which is known as Impasto because it is very satisfying to observe and fun to create.

Eli has used excellent line and shading skills in his art piece as it truly does look like famous stand up comedian, Kevin Hart.

I would describe it as sketching because this is a very common style of art work and sketches are normally incomplete and done in free hand.

This art work is very basic to me and i believe that it was a very simple task and that it was not very difficult for the artist to create.

The artist is clearly very good at getting all the main elements of art together in to create this final piece such as form, value and shape. This must have been a very long process as this was clearly done via a model or photograph to follow a step by step guide on how o create the final product.

Realism / Photorealistic as his drawing looks as if it was taken via photograph.

This art work inspires me to try and make my art work more realistic and similar to a photograph that people cannot tell the difference between them.
